Making Money Online is Not That Easy

At first I thought making money online while at home is an easy thing to do. You just set up a site, serve advertisements, get some visitors to it and watch the money flow. The idea was simple but the process is difficult for me. I set up a blog and put ads on it. I copied and pasted articles from other sites on it and wait for the money come. Days, weeks, months passed but nothing happened. Not a single visitor came to that blog. I begun to ask myself why. I did set up a site, put ads on it but no visitors. I thought of a campaign to promote my blog through social networking sites and few people came to that blog. I was happy about it. But there's still no cash flowing. I wondered, what the successful internet marketers do to have tons of visitors to their blog. I searched the internet for ways and techniques and came across Search Engine Optimization (SEO). It was then I understand that making money online is not that easy. SEO is a technique to get visitors to your blog or website. You optimize for blog to be search engine friendly so that your blog becomes visible in the search results of search engines. And the first step to do this is writing original content. I was doing it wrong from the start, I thought to myself.

I then managed to drive hundreds of visitors to my site provided that I make original posts. I made my first couple of dollars per day practicing SEO. I was so happy about it. Now I earn money online though not that big like other bloggers and internet marketers. I was a complete noob to the internet but I am learning. I know I'll make more money in the future if I keep on learning.
